Somehow I overlooked the Makro's "specifications" page which does provide technical details just like Garrett, Whites, etc. For that I must apologize and admit that the information does in fact disclose details to help educate potential consumers.

Competition is always a good way to facilitate advancements in "R&D"; however, I am still disappointed to see Makro DOES NOT offer anything for the (salt-water) beach hunting community, i.e., waterproof MF-VLF or PI. Any word on whether such equipment is in design?

At this stage they dont have salt water dedicated unit however it appears the new Racer should be a capable beach hunter if the Fors CoRe is anything to go by - Also they are looking at producing PI units in the near future -
