Heya Folks.
So, I just came back to Treasure Hunting & Metal Detecting to be more specific. I have been gone from the hobby for about 4 years, so basically I have spent the last week trying to do as much research as I can, and watch as many different YouTube videos I can, to get as informed as possible. There are so many new Detectors and Things, etc. That being said, as I was doing my research, I came across this little contraption and to be frank...........I don't know you Frank! Wtf are you doing here! Lol. But really lol, what is this thing and is it something new that I need to take notice of. Or is this something someone put together in their garage, made it look like it is going to do something, and just tossing jt on Amazon hoping people buy it? I'm kinda leaning towards the latter, well just because lol. So as you're taking a gander at this magnificent piece of future Treasure Hunting, please be aware that this little BAD BOY costs $4,200 lol, yes ,y friend this little thingamabob cost FORTY TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. LOL, it's kinda hard to wrap you mind around that number, so to put it into perspective, this dumb little gadget cost more than FIFTEEN (15) BRAND SPANKING NEW Nokta Makro Simplex+ Machines! lol. OK, I have had you in suspense to long now, here it is! Lol. I actually have a YouTube channel where I will be reviewing all kinds of different items, Gadgets, Electronics, Toys, Models, etc. And I actually reached out to this company to see of they would be willing to send me one to review lol, I honesty am curious on what exactly this thing even does lol. Hopefully they reply so we can see, I will definitely keep ya'll updated if they actually do respond and better yet, send me one! Hehe Also, maybe I am just trippin' and this is some gadget I'm just not aware of and it's actually good hehe

Here are two links, first one is the Amazon listing and the 2nd one is to YouTube with them trying to explain the machine. BUT just in case you don't want to click any links. I will go ahead and toss a few pictures of it below as well.
BOOM SHOCKALACKA, CLICK HERE! Feast your eyes upon this glory! or CLICK HERE if you want to see them try to explain it on the ol' YouTube, lol

Hopefully that made your day,
Rich (Locozilla)

I don't see any pictures, but I will assume you are talking about long range locators. If so they are a scam.
I didn't include pictures, I just put in 2 different links. One to Amazon and one to YouTube, but give me 60,seconds and I'll a few pictures to the OP

Also, you use the word scam. Does that mean like literally a scam and the gadget does absolutely nothing at all? Or like it puts a Scammy taste in your mouth but it actually does something somewhere? I mean I guess either way you look at it, it has to be a scam lol, seeing it cost $4,200

When I say scam, I mean full blown snake oil scam. As in it does absolutely nothing.

Man that is pretty messed up, especially for the $4,200 price tag, well now I REALLY hope they send me one to review, but tbh now that you let me know that it'd a full on scam, I HIGHLY doubt they are going to send me one lol, as they will know the review video wouldn't go well. ESPECIALLY since every video of this thing on YouTube has the comments turned off lol.

Also if anyone is at all interested, here is the URL to their official website, showing all the different products that they "offer". If you do take a gander at the website, make sure to note that one of their products cost $14,000 lmao, shiz is CRAY CRAY!

Also side note, the only "reputable" product on that website is their Pinpointer, and this dam thing cost $250 lol.

Looks like they laid down a Whites control pod, put an old Explorer pod on top of it and plastic puttied them together and then put the entire morphrodite discombobulation on a pressure washer handle. To top it off they then landed that whole mess on 2 frisbees. For what it is…they might as well have. Add this to the list of the many things wrong in this world….

The helical antenna technology being used in this device is excellent, and has been in use for decades for satellite, and various broadcast transmission systems, and small communications devices, like portable radios. these antenna are capable of long distance rx/tx, which is why you see this device with adjustable distance to 3000 meters ( nearly 2 miles). However, the company is trying to employ this antenna technology with some other electronics and components to try to turn it into a gemstone and metal detector. The video demonstrates the complicated process of how it works, and it’s clear that interference in and around the device from other objects, and the multi step process that is required to operate the device, makes it both impractical and unsuitable for common metal detecting. This device, at best, from my view, is a VERY, VERY, early working stage of a long range detector, and it would serve no purpose for a common hobbyist/detectorist. its operation in the video was sketchy at best...nothing to see here.

The Geotech website and forum is a pretty well respected technical forum for metal detecting, and there are several detailed pages there dedicated to exposing LRLs as the full blown scams that they are:

https://www.geotech1.com/cgi-bin/pages/common/index.pl?page=lrl&file=info.dat

The site also has a bunch of links to their own reviews of several different LRL “devices” in which they take them apart to examine the innards…they’re a hoot to browse through - many with wires to nowhere, circuit boards attached to nothing, etc:

https://www.geotech1.com/cgi-bin/pages/common/index.pl?page=lrl&file=reports.dat

The pages are fairly old at this point, as are the “devices” being reviewed, but the LRL “technology” really hasn’t changed…pseudoscience is being generous, and I’m sure the latest scam devices are similarly equipped inside, just sometimes with more exotic smoke and mirrors.

Kellyco still hawks this garbage at outrageous prices, which is one of the reasons I’ll never buy a thing from that particular seller. Anyone have 13 grand to burn?? Check it:

Lol, $13k and it has a worse build quality than a 99$ Bounty Hunter.

Shame on you Kellycodetectors for selling scams.

Bionic Detection Method (Bio-Energy-System): During the detection of gold the Bionic Detection Method interacts with the Bio-Energy of the operator's body to analyze minimum changes of object substances.
Lol. They need to hire a better technobabble writer. This is embarrassing.

It’s bull$hit

It makes me wonder what the companies that sell long range locators are thinking. Why would Kellyco even put them on the website? How many do you suppose they've sold at $13k?

 I know, right? I like the part that says “…hardly noticeable as a metal detector”. At least that’s one honest statement!! I certainly never would have mistaken it for an actual dectector!!

Oh man, oh man who was that famous guy......... oh gee.....oh oh I know. Wasn't it PT Barnum who said there is a sucker born every minute. Run away from this gizmo, run away fast.:takeoff:
