Accurate Calls could have just not returned, or private messaged a mod with the request. AC making it a public request is an attempt to garner sympathy and validation.

Some just can't handle being questioned, let alone disagreed with.

You never know what's going on. This forum is mild. I was on a forum that died. Had a nutjob who used to go by TMike. Started threatening me in PM. And said things about my mother who was dying. Admin said just get along. That forum messed up and left it where you could delete everything you posted. I stayed up all night and it was gone. Forum didn't make it.

I left a metal detecting forum without deleting anything because my transgressions were too severe. (I was an idiot about a find and fought with people over it, despite being the one that was wrong). I might return one day, but for now i'm still too embarrassed about it.

I have seen a lot of forums fade away due to both mismanagement and because people just got tired of the troll abuse. This forum has admin and moderators that are on the ball. It's also up to us to do inhouse cleaning as well. Ignore the trolls, inform those who try to throw weight around they don't have that it will not be tolerated. If you see something that could lead to conflict, report it and I guarantee it will be delt with. Once the idiots find out this is a forum not to be trifled with, they will either leave or toe the line. Simple as that.
