Customs Question

If the Deus 2 has to be shipped back to XP in France for major service, does that mean when they ship it back to the owner:
1. It has to go through customs again?
2. It has to be shipped to a XP dealer because an individual cannot receive it directly from customs?
3. It does not have to go through customs at all and go back to the original owner?

I saw that too. Apparently there’s a bigger demand for these new machines in Finland than the US….the richest country on Earth. Doesn’t necessarily sound like XP has their sh*t together, really.

If anyone is wondering the Deus 2 started shipping to dealers on Friday. From one distributor anyway that only got a little over 100 and mostly 11". FYI The wait to fill all orders will take first half of 2022 IMO. But who knows. Good luck to all waiting. This is why I no longer take pre-orders. Horrible frustration for all involved.

I am really anxious to see how it stacks up as well. I have developed quite the love for this equinox 800. It will take a lot to replace it as my primary machine.

I will run the deus 2 through my coin garden first. There is a lot of EMI and trash in the test area so most detectors have struggled in it. Including the nox. I also plan to go over some park spots I have grid hunted with nox and other machines. Then on to some field sites where schools and churches once sat. Need the weather to cooperate though as most the area is still frozen. I might head south to some parks we have hunted in the past. Ground is not frozen there.

I understand the pandemic BS and parts being hard to get.
But what PMO is they posted Pictures acting like they had Pallets and Palets full. That got people to sell their machines like I did to buy one. Then they are like so sorry we are only sending a few to the USA and to me that is BS. Now I am out of a Detector waiting for mine to get here which looks like I didn't make the First batch.

I have an E-Trac, and a NOX 800, so I can wait. I knew there was gonna be a wait when I bought, so I'm Ok with that.
 
I expect to see backlog of Deus 2 all the way though 2022. Why?

Cause unit will be more popular due to beach performance / weight.

Yeah I can see preorders happening All through the year. Some will get filled for only more to be added.
Cat is not even out of the bag all the way.
When cats comes fully out of bag. Look out.

And don’t forget other Deus 2 setup options may come to bear soon. These cheaper setups will sell loads too. So more preorders piling up.

Wonder if I had a tractor trailer loads Deus 2 I could take to Florida just advertising on social media. How long would it take me to sell all ?
Go down east coast and up the west coast. Wonder how far I would get before all gone?
