My 1000 post on this ?

Is the book the Exeter book or just the book of riddles:?:

Riddle# 52 quoted from the Exeter Book. I believe it is referring to a weapon of some kind...canon or missile?

"I protect my hearth, my hoard and my home,
surrounded by strands and filled within
with excellent treasures. Often by day
I spit abroad the terror of spears.
My success is the greater the more I am filled.
My master sees this, how darts fly from within me.
Sometimes I swallow the swart dark weapons,
the poisoned darts. My entrails are good,
precious to warriors, the hoard that I hold.
Many remember what goes through my mouth."

Sounds like a wild good chase to me honestly. Hope someone proves me wrong but I highly doubt it. Just my opinion.

Sun shines underground aka gold....lions tree could be a sundial with the shape of a lion in it, so many spread out like trees and the stems were shaped like trees...so you follow the line from the sun dial which can give you the true north....then follow where the line would be at 9pm to the first find...and the numbers are steps in direction north east then south from the last find

The Treasure at Bradford Reservoir made the news!

http://www.phillyburbs.com/blogs/ne...cle_3e5065df-7566-5e60-83f6-c3da7e87049f.html

I grew up at the reservoir and know the area as good as or better than anyone. I registered at treasurenet to post that I am familiar with the hollow tree they are calling the “Lions Tree” I hunted within 100 yards of the tree for approximately 20 years. All those years there was no lion statue in the hollow. The statue would have to have been in the tree for 30+ years for it to be the so called Lions Tree. It was obviously planted to keep the hoax alive.

I registered at treasurenet and posted about the tree giving a description of the tree and the surrounding area so that the person who found the tree/statue could verify that I am aware of the trees location and surroundings. (The person who discovered the tree has not yet told anyone where it is) When I posted I found that the topic is being moderated. Whomever moderated the post containing the verifiable info did not post the post but did block my IP!

The moderators are participating in allowing the obvious hoax to continue! There are still people wasting their time searching who will not know the lion tree/statue hoax.

Jeff Of Pa, moderator at TNET and that VERY same thread, is a control freak. The treasure is a hoax in my opinion. SEPA man even said in the very beginning that he doesn't know if it's true or not and does not care. He's solely in it for the $$$ for spreading the story (his own words). Why would someone tell others of a treasure if it was true and they could have it all? Jeff of Pa likes to delete my posts when I question the authenticity of the story and then gives his version of why he deletes my posts. I cannot reply to his version of the issue as my posts are immediately deleted. I am CousinEddie at Tnet. If anyone tries to posts a reply saying they think it's a hoax, the post gets deleted. Guys like SEPA man bring a bad name to metal detecting and treasure hunting. I live in Bucks County and stories/hoaxes bring people onto private properties in an unwanted fashion.

The story brings attention to the website and that's why they allow it. Jeff of Pa said some kind of ridiculous !!!! about how I'm breaking the rules by telling SEPA I think the story is a hoax. I had some very valid questions that never got answered because that old man over at Tnet takes his moderating job too seriously. I guess that site has a problem with the truth. He has threatened to ban me many times in PM's and I tell him to go ahead. He never does because he knows he's wrong for censoring me and that I am breaking no rules.

I read not too long ago someone hunting for this "treasure" was on private property and had a gun pulled on them. I knew that would happen because I have had farmers put guns to MY face when I go to ASK permission to hunt their properties for coins and buttons. This happens because guys like SEPA send UNWANTED strangers out to trespass on these private areas and it pisses people off. I'm sickened that Tnet has a hand in destroying a great hobby over a little more web traffic. I am not a real fan of that site. I was actually called a liar at Tnet about the depth I found a Merc dime when I was only about 3 weeks into metal detecting!! Jeff of Pa never stopped by and deleted any of the posts calling me a liar. I called him on this and he says nothing.

I am a member at a few sites. Tnet is the ONLY place I have ever had an issue for asking questions and voicing my opinion.

Some people do, some don't. I don't think it's true. I am a treasure story believer, not a disbeliever. That is why I got into detecting, hahaha!! I just don't buy SEPA's story. Paid hoaxers are annoying. If I am wrong and there is a treasure, it will be a wonderful thing for the person that didn't think it was a hoax...right?

If I posted this EXACT reply at Tnet, Jeff of PA would delete it and tell me to stop or I will be banned.

That's great.... "Some" was dug up and it's "all" gone now? Some and all...completely different. Contradiction in the same sentence.

If it was found I am sure it will be announced soon....Unless there is some "secret" reason it can't be known it was found or shown.

ummm ......does it involve an oil tank and some lame picture of items that may or maynot have been recovered from somewhere

Apparently there are a few Lions Head statues in those woods, (how coincidental is that?), and the one found WASN'T it. I have no clue? Pfffft... Chasing one's tail is only fun for those watching. SEPA is starting have quite a few things slipping his mind lately for such a detailed treasure guy. Having people sitting in parking lots for no one to show up and then say he "forgot" to say it was another day is a good indication of a pile of stuff getting bigger and bigger. I'd say I pay pretty damn close attention.

I was the one hauling a truckload of pipe. Customer there needed some copper by morning.
