I re-surface/polish dobro bars/guitar slides for folks across the USA...

These are solid metal, i.e. non/plated usually of a stainless alloy..

This first picture was "flipped" to make the reflection read proper..

This is the reflection of a dime, in the end of a slide that I polished..

I also sandblast some surfaces for better gripp...

My whole process is USA made, grits, rouge, baldor motors, wheels, sander belts, and the slides as well, EVERY BIT OF IT... I don't make them, I make them better.. LOL..

I also make stuff out of recycled wood.. i.e. my bar...Made from some bowling alley lane, a bunch of pallet wood... I also made the the rolling work bench shown.. I bought the bowling alley to make the work bench, I used the rest of it on the bar in a different place ten years later..

I don't have any skills whatsoever. Can only make a fool of myself. Hey Silversmith it would be simple for a person with your skills to make a ring out of a silver spoon, wouldn't it? Several year ago I went around the junk shops buying all the silver cutlery I could get. I could buy a silver fork or spoon for a few cents. My wife constantly told me off for wasting money. I would like to get one of the ornate forks I bought made into a ring.

Thanks guys!

All of the heavy wood was from recycled shipping pallets, except the trim on the bowling lane, started off as 25' x 2.5"x15", came out of an old barn in Flint MI., it had been sitting for 25 years.. The trim is a true 2"x4", Burr oak, made it all for $60+ gas money for the 130mi round trip.

What is shown above includs a back bar as well. This is a picture of the mirror/shelf for the back bar, made of 4" x 12" the shelf is also a solid 4"x6"... This stuff is so heavy lol... Also that is my keg I turned into a trash can..

I have made quite a few Kentucky Rifles and inlay them with silver from spoons I have won, unfortunately not from silver I have dug.

Now....THAT's one awesome looking firearm. Always wanted to shoot or own one of those.
Neat. Thanks for sharing...........see ya yardhunter

My 2 year project

This is what I made from a wagon load of pieces and a LOT of time. It is basically stock. and I have been driving it now for about 14 years. around 20,000 miles now.

I have been making a few horse bit's over the winter.
Hey silversmith get a hold of me and tell me where I can get one of those saws :) Need to do some silver overlay's

I love this car!
The color scheme and everything is perfect.

If I didn't have so many irons in the fire I'd do my best to talk you into selling it to me.

Fabricated Intake Manifold

I fabricated this intake manifold- actually a morph between stock flanges and runners to a sheet metal plenum. Runner length and plenum volume were calculated using given formulas to maximize the power range in order to work with the performance camshafts. I did not make the (blue) fuel rail although I did modify it to fit, including making the aluminum hold down clamps.
