What Do You Make?

Wood carving is my passion

Here is a little project I had a few years ago. It's made out of Cherry wood and as you can see there are several versions before I decided on the final shape.

Enjoy!

Some days I come in the door ... dragon.

well...

Ive been a licensed Amateur Radio Operator since 1977. I can go to any hardware store , buy $15 worth of parts and wire....build an antenna ... and in about 30 minutes .... talk to people anywhere in the world with it ! It's a fun , clean cut hobby and it keeps me out of the bars !

Decals, banners, shirts...you name it

We do all sorts of graphic design work, from decals, signs, banners, shirts etc... vinyl, digital printing, screen printing.

No More Headphone wires !!

I Love this one,, it puts the headphone plug on the butt end of the unit and works much better AND you can use much better headphones.. The ones that come with the Garrett you can buy direct from China (no plug on end) for $3.79, they are the cheapest and worst headphones you can get..
SOOOO
First do the conversion to a 3.5mm female plug
(note black is common and red is right and white is left)
see conversion done on Utube at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX5XqLEGKnk

next buy a FM transmitter (about 5 dollars on AlieExpress from china

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6118526864.html

mount on stand that holds the unit up, screws, or rubber bands work just fine.
plug into the 3.5mm plug on end in the conversion you just did above,, and find a frequency..

One more purchase,, a good set of FM wireless headphones (also Aliexpress) the more you spend the better you hear. these are from Ebay and work just great (better than the Garrett ones )

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Digit...84825806?pt=US_Headphones&hash=item20e53b5ace

set for same freq.. turn it all on and NO MORE HEADPHONE Wires!!!!

You will not be sorry,, any questions PM me or put on here..
Makes sure to find a frequency no it use,, frequency response is better than the original Garrett Headphones ( and you can lesion to music on your breaks!!!

What "We" built

Bought a 40X60 steel building kit in 2000. Finally finished it up (sorta) in 2008. Way too much fun and the most important thing I (we) learned from building our first steel building was: Never Build a Steel Building!

What I made

I saw someone post a Mustang they made. My vehicle I made while recuperating from 2 strokes. This was my re-hab project that that took about 1.5 years. It kept me going and I have learned to walk and talk from working on it. I use it to get me to sites for metal detecting by strapping my MD to the back seat and sliding my vest next to the back seat cubby hole. Gets about 45 mpg will go 120 mph. I also does wheelies good when I find the good stuff. I had a electric power chair but wouldn't go very fast, my son says this my super modified power chair.
1969 VW trike bought for $600 and was ugly. New transmission, New motor, wheels and tires, Lights, fuel tank, running boards, seats recovered, paint, fiberglass work and labor of love.
