I guess I just don't understand the need of some people to constantly bad mouth another detector brand. You can look at every post I have ever made, I would never do that.

I am smart enough to realize that there are many detectors made by many different companies that ALL do an excellent job at finding stuff.

The thing that separates the successful detectorists from the less successful is knowledge of the machine you are swinging and of course location, location, location.

People constantly want to trash other brands. At least 75% of the time, the people doing the bashing don't have a clue of what they are talking about. Just turns into 1 big pi$$ing contest.

I have no idea how a newbie looking to buy a machine can possibly draw an unbiased opinion on a detector purchase based on what many people post.

WAY too many uninformed haters out there. I'm off my soapbox. pi$$ away ...

well I did it and went thru TN's post and his $$$ coin is a 1911D Barber and looked it up on Ebay and one in Uncirculated condition is just shy of $40

Hunter im not bashing the detector. I dont do that. I have whites and minelab. And have used most brands. I dont like first texas products because i had some build quality issues with 3 of the 4 i had. So no need for them anymore. They are deep and fun to swing tho. I just have issues with people running at the chops and saying nothing. I know how to look up old posts but i shouldn't have to...i think if someone makes statements like indian is making then just be a man and back it up today with pics of all that gold you found. And the safe buried in the yard trick lmao too funny! i feel like im clark w griswald and he is cousin eddie lol cause things just dont ad up. Its ok tho. Out of the many many members it looks like 1 believes you. You go boy!!

I was wanting to get an E trac this year too but I got screwed on my taxes like always...I worked 2 FULL TIME jobs all year and am gettin 1200 bucks back..no kids and not married they really SCREW you on taxes.

I ended up buying an old surfmaster and an explorer instead..Kinda happier in a way cuz now I have an all water mnachine and a good land machine..

The way I figure Il just buy a CTX in 5 years when they are going for cheaper.

I work one full time job and am oncall all the time with 3 kids and still have to pay thousands in. And I claim only 1!!!

Tn_indian just don't say much, you see heres the deal. if you have anything but a minelab you will get pooped on here. Not just by the local common morons but by a great majority of all.
I have learned that you have to be easy or soft and gentle with them. You keep finding your stuff with your f75 or whatever you choose to use.
Just do me a favor, if you go to the silly side and purchase a minelab don't think your on a pedestal like a few of these peeps. its a constant "lmao, or lol, or kinda thing with these grown ups on here.
But sometimes its fun to play their game back. When I log off I go about my day just as they do but since they are the holliest of holys I guess pushing the buttons on them gets fun at times

Oh I get a kick outy of roughing there fethers LOL. I been laughing for days at them and p.s I am gonna get a minelab and no way would I act anything like them. my parents taught me better. TY HH

I AGREE!!! Not all the minelab guys r like this either tho just mainly the ones that came and bashed my thread. This is called the Friendly Forums and some people didn't get the memo. But all in all I will continue to ask questions and whatever. maybe there parents didn't teach them how to treat others idk maybe they didn't have parents. Either way I will pray for them. And when I do get a minelab I already know who to stay clear of. I want nothing to do with there bashing others threads and different brands. Don't see how there still even members on here. If they don't like me well they need to block me cause im in this for the long haul and u can write that down on your wall. HH And TY

there has been way more bashing by non ML guys bashing ML than there has been ML guys bashing non ML ... in fact many ML guys have told him to just stick with his F75 and learn more about because we know that learning your machine whatever it is, is the most important thing

yes I did ruin one of my barbers I think when digging it up. I Knew I had a barber coming out of the hole cause of the location I was at. Had the f2 and was very new to detecting. I was sick for days after that.

OK Guys - I just went back and read all the posts in this thread. There were exactly 3 "bashing other detector" posts and all 3 bashed minelabs: Hunter081 in post 21 and 71 and Crumble in post 40 bashing the price. So guys, as usual it is the non minelab guys bashing the minelab guys.

Like I said before I JUST DON'T GET IT and find it pathetic!! I have a CTX, a T2SE and an AT Pro and consider them all excellent detectors. I also want to get a white's at some time. I just wish I would have spent the extra to get the F75 ltd at the time I purchased the T2SE.

TN-INDIAN - people react the way they do to your posts because they are in some cases just plain not believeable.
