Oh well theres always next year. Just gives me more time {2 years] to have with my f75 in which I was never giving up on her anyways. Just now started clicking with her. Thanks.

listen tn indian.....Give that f75 time. Its a chattery detector and that the only bad thing about it. I have seen many many f75's in the field and I would take that machine over a minelab ANYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

give it time, its a very deep seeker and sweet machine. Don't be discouraged just because you don't have 6,423.98 dollars of mainelab in your hands. Who cares that f75 will outperform a etrac anyday. Remember I had the e-!!!! and ctx ,,Thumbs down.

I never gave up on the f75. We are just now clicking but have a long ways to go still. I was just wanting another machine for like a bakup and always wanted a minelab. Idk I guess I get off on learning new machines. Love the f75 always have except when I almost gave up on it last year a few times lol. Thanks.

Just curious Hunter - when did you have an e-trac and a CTX?? I see you just started detecting not long ago and bought an Ace 250 when you started and then upgraded to the MXT and the AT Pro. How much time did you spend with each minelab machine, and why did you get rid of them. A little surprised you would have bought a CTX if you didn't like the E-Trac.

I spent my detector fooling around money on a new snow blower. I hated to see the money go, but I sure needed help with the snow this year. I have a Safari for land and the Sovereign for the beach. In fact I'll be listing an Excalibur in the classifieds to help with household things. Times are tight. And a hobby is no place to spend money you do not have. Maybe I'll find some gold to help out the budget. But in the end I know I have two quality detectors and that is more than enough.

Hunter081 watches too much Duck Dynasty to actually learn a Minelab....

Jressman

Ouch  TN INDIAN, the F75se is a great machine, deeper than the E-Trac, I like the ID on the E-trac better than the F75se, switching coils plays a big part along with research, I cleaned the silver over here back in the 70s out, not many good places to hunt, learn the f75se the 5dd is killer on sidewalk strips, Earl

Thanks great advice. Lots of old sidewalks around here I plan on hitting. Im getting more and more comfortable hunting in public and I have that 5dd coil.

SACK OF GOLD, SACK OF GOLD, SACK OF GOLD!:popcorn2:

Wish I had scales to put it onlike u guys do it lol. Let me see if I can round it all up it is late and I am kinda in a hurry to figure out a slogan to put on a business card fordoor knockin this year. I will start rounding it all up now tho. its scattered here and there in conntainers some just laying on dresser some in safe lol. Only think I keep together is all my silver coins only bout 30 maybe more haven't counted in a while. Will first take pic of all the gold then maybe do a lil show and tell of all the rest of stuff I found since starting year and a half ago. Would like to put my silver coins in display cases. Right now just have them in there own lil sandwich bags. ! silver coin per sandwich bag. Have more than 1 worth in the 100s. Guess yall don't believe me there either lol. Even tho im a Christian and all guess u guys still gotta see the pics well that's ok I would wanna see them to love pics. Been wanting to show off my collection for a while now anyways just wish I could have the coins in a display case and the gold on scales which I need anyways before I send it all off for $$$ or maybe $$$$...

Go back in my post history from my profile. You shall find some of my finds in there. If I remember correctly it was a 1906 barber dime cant tell ya the mint mark but go look for ya self. thanks. may even find some gold I found with pics but yea rather have all the gold on scales before pics and silvers in display cases. most is all in a fireproof safe in the yard underground but yea since the income tax check didn't fall threw I may go dig her up and send all the gold off to be sold but first gonna get a scale. Cause once I weigh it I want it gone asap.

And while I got the safe up I wanna put the coins in a display case and put on the wall for show and tell.

So in other words a high end detector still may be in the works this year r least a semi high end lol. them minelabs ant cheap but gotta have one to try and will get one just not soon enuf.

I agree on depth. You won't find any detectors much deeper than the f75. Minelab visual id might lock on better but I think most of us mainly hunt by tone anyway and with the fisher you get a faster sweep speed, lighter detector, and a detector that will run a long time on 4aa batteries. They are both great detectors but I doubt you'd find many if any targets with one that you wouldn't find with the other. You could always invest in a few new coils for the f75. I want to check out the 13in, and I love my 6in elliptical it found me 3 silver coins in my grandparents yard that I missed with every other detector I've owned.

yea I may go this route as well. I would like to have all the coils for the f75. I have a feeling the next machine fisher makes is gonna be the F80 and the f70 and f75 coils will fit the f80 as well. yea stable would be nice and yes not lookin fwd to the weight difference but keep in mind the 705 isn't that heavy at all and correct me if im wrong I think the 705 weighs the same as the f75...

I hope if they do make an f80 that it's a dual freq detector like the cz series. I'd also like to see the rain proof housing brought back.

If you have mild ground, a single frequency machine running hot will punch deeper than a multi-frequency machine.

Learn your f75.

CTX is way overpriced anyway... :D
