I've been thinking about a way to minimize my gear carrying during shorter hunting trips. I found a little bag at Lowe's that clips on to my waist belt. It holds all my finds and has a nice little loop to hold my Lesche digger. I stuff a rag in it for laying plugs on the ground and I'm set.

I have a similar setup, however I still use the lesche sheath and I got my pouch from a Big Lot store, it also has a smaller pouch above the large one with a velcro closure that I use for my keeper finds. Been using it for awhile and it works for me.

I picked up a 'belt with a belt' kinda' thing... Sorta' hard to explain, but it's from a store 'very similar' to your 'Harbor Freight'. Only ten bucks, but it would be PERFECT with that AWP pouch and my digger would probably fit into that thing Beautifully! Thanks for the heads up, I'll be checking for one of those in the next few days.

Cheers,

Whoops! Double Post  Ah well, Here's the Belt thingy in it's place...

Cheers,
