How much is a 2.8g Platinaire ring worth?

No diamonds, doggone it ;-)

"The alloy is a blend of 92.5% silver and 5% platinum and 2.5% being the undisclosed elements that make up the patent."

In scrap, not much, little more than sterling..

As jewelry, could be worth whatever someone will pay for it, probably more than scrap..

I bookmarked this website a while back. Thought maybe some of you guys might get some use out of it. It's for calculating the value of various metals by weight and purity. http://gold.yabz.com/jewelry.htm Good basic guide. Of course, it is entirely possible for a particular item to be worth more as the calculator obviously doesn't take into account design, age, or value of precious stones. More of a "melt value" calculator.
