How can i tell if it's a penny or half penny? Estimated value? It's rare for me to find in good condition so this one surprised me. Usually for me I'm lucky to even get one side of the coin in semi-good condition, never both sides. I did run it through water but other than that i tried not to touch it too much just in case.

Wow I love old shoe buckles. That’s a good site you have. I would work it hard and slow theres more to be found.
Sorry i don't know why the pictures came out so big, i found this one not far from the site on the walking trail. Deep too in the roots, took me a long time to get this out of the ground. Batwing buckle i think it's called, my first one. This is copper?
I actually think this is brass? I mean the shape is close enough. It was ringing up at like 28-32 i think on the minelab eqinox
