Since White's is no longer in business, I could not find anyone selling the Underwater Headset Slider, Part No 501-1071-4, I went looking for a headset that had the same part.
Global Industrial (looking them up on the internet to find their website) has a pair of Elvex ValueMuff Earmuff for $7.67 and free shipping.
I separated the muff from the ear cup and from the inside of the cup I drilled tiny holes that connected to make a larger opening to pry out the piece.
On the DF, you can push in the broken piece to clear the hole (I attempted to glue the broken slider in a previous attempt to repair and it did not take). I then took a knife into the hole to ream the opening a little bigger and remove any remaining glue. I added some vaseline to assist in the sliding into the hole.
I pushed it into place with some pressure.
The following pics may assist you in what I did.
