Why do i hear & read the Garrett Carrot 🥕 is not a true pinpointer?

My 72 year old ears, from living thru the 1960s" has no issue. The F-Pulse is sharp to my ears.
Yep, 1960's 1970's great stereos, great rock music and too much listening with good quality headphones to fantastic sounding 33 1/3 LP stereo records. That is was affected my hearing is my guess. No music today even comes close to the high quality of stereo equipment, LP's and fantastic recording artists back then. I mean nothing today will top that period of music in my opinion. Too many vocals today go through the autotune to make all the female singers sound identical. I have over 300 33 1/3 mint condition LP's that I still listen to on 1970's stereo equipment. But I don't do headphones anymore. My wife says I should sell my LP's because they are now bringing top dollar on eBay.

Vinyl was the best sound recording medium without a doubt. I have a good collection of my favorites on Vinyl myself.

I was lucky. I got about 200 of the from an older local Atlanta FM rock station DJ. He had them advertised on nextdoor for free. When I called him that rainy night he said there were two guys ahead of me for the albums. I offered him $50 cash and he accepted and I was at his house that raining night with the cash in the next 20 minutes. I did not want to give him time to change his mind. He got all those records free and they recorded them onto cartridges to more easily play them on the air live.

Very cool phonographs, those are rare. Do you repurpose them?
