Def the Ames Planter Pal. Bought this last yr and really like it alot.

Was only 9.97 at Home Depot and Very high quality good luck breaking it.

And if you do there is always the 10 yr warranty! Has a serrated side

A blade side depth indicaters also can be used for other things

This is the one I have, very good tool but I don't know if they offer left handed serrations.

Looks like the Ames and the True Temper are made at the same place.

I use a Lesche and have for quite a while got out of the hobby for a while but back into it and like I said have used one faithfully and never had a broblem digging ,cutting, or getting any amount of dirt out of a hole. used properly like all the others it will do the job to each their own I guess However I do like the Predator diggers as well just never owned one maybe I will but I can say I have bought the cheaper LOwes and other garden varitey diggers and they have not stood up to some of this Texas dirt and rock Mid Summer time! JMHO
