Whites MXT Tracker E Series Lithium Battery?

Hi, Is there a Lithium Battery replacement for my White's MXT Tracker E series The battery holder cassette is #802 7150, only I am eating traditional alkaline batteries! Many thanks.

MXT should run 30-40 hrs on alkalines. Otherwise, you could buy NiMH AAs and a recharger (easy/cheap). White's also made a NiMH pack that works on the MXT (easy/expensive). Finally, some DIYers have made lithium packs using a 3D printer (difficult). See here.

They had batteries made by RNB … super hard to find now… but they are the best!!!

You can build your own. You need a Whites battery pack, 3 18650 lithium cells, and a small battery management system board (optional).. Should be lots of stuff on making this on Detector Prospector forum. I've made two 4 cell packs for my TDI SL.

Yup...as far as I know, I was the first person to build my own 16.8v setup for the TDI SL. Then Karelian, from Australia made one, and posted pics of it, with some instructions. My pics should be on there somewhere, too.
