Went back to the lake bed, same area I found the Walker last weekend and other coins the season before that.

Only found two coins today, but both were silver Rosies. A 1948 D and a 1951 S.

Also found some sort of safety tag from 1956, a seemingly true “rustproof” bleach cap (second one found here, a number of screw caps, and a cool ink bottle that has an “8” embossed on the bottom.

First double silver day in a long while, but 4 silvers from this spot in the last 3 hunts. Pretty warm these days, so cut it short this morning, was dripping sweat and it was only 9:15.

I found a donut shaped fishing weight like that on Saturday. Mine has a "3" on it. First one I've ever seen that shape.

Good job on the Rosies, and that ink bottle is awesome. Well done.
Thank you hoser.

Looks like the Rosie's were stuck in iron stuff? Nice saves g.s.
The clay soil here is red with iron, it probably doesn't help that this area is under water 98% of the year. Area was dammed up in 1965.

Cool older finds, congrats on the Rosies
Thanks KH!

3 ounce weight (yours). I have found a bunch of similar ones but usually in the 1 to 2 ounce ones. I have a big bin of lead found while detecting, probably 20 pounds or more. I actually have gotten a bit lazy and toss some of them now, I should stop doing that.
