Two happy Ladies arrived today at the Royal Castle!

And these sisters were escorted by KT into the inner Court Yard, where the Royal Kitchen Staff had tea (Earl Gray, of course) and cookies ready for us.

We visited and they were both so happy that they had made it to under the Protection of the Royal Court. Both were WWII babies and grew up through the Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Middle East Wars. Needless to say, they were tired of wars and wanted to settle in a place of civility and peace. They were both widows and good friends, so KT set aside a bedroom and common room in their Castle apartment, thus they might keep their own company and also participate in whatever is going on in the Castle. KT had one of the Royal Guards escort them throughout the Realm so they might get a feel of the local inhabitants and their activities. They have now returned to the Royal Castle and been shown the Royal Baths, instructed that their clothes would be taken, washed, dried and pressed, while they could take leisurely baths.

A Royal Feast is being prepared for our latest arrivals so that other Castle inhabitants may meet with and get to know them.
