KT was welcomed back to the Royal Castle from lunch by two groups of silver brothers and sisters!

The first were 5 silver George Washington Commemorative halves, struck in 1982, to celebrate our first President's 250th birthday! They are all still in their original cellophane wraps from the US Mint, but their original blue boxes were showing the wear of time, so KT just discarded them. They will have a place of honor with their fellow GW Commemoratives in KT's Treasury! And they have the honor of the first picture in this post!

The second group consisted of a WWII era Walker, two late struck Bens, and a 64 Ken, all 90%Ag! They are proudly displayed in the second picture. The Walker certainly knows how to keep good company with those Bens and Kens! A Royal Feast will be held in both groups honor tonight, by Royal Decree!

Enjoy the Royal Photographer's efforts!

Ahh sire tis a hearty group to brave the cold to make it to the ramparts of thy secure kingdom. They are safe and warm gathered around the king's hearth.

You are absolutely correct, hoser, and they are presently beside the Great Hearth, regaling their listeners with stories from their youth! And very happy to be within the Royal Castles wall on this frosty evening!

Man I like them all! The GW’s are a hidden gem, the oldies just have that age old artisan beauty about them. Nice pickups KT!
Royal Thanks, GroundSweeper, for your comments! Yes, and KT was very glad to add more of them, both the GWs and the oldies to the Royal Treasury. The Father of our Country richly deserved this commemorative issue!
