Four silver travelers arrived in the Royal Mailbox this morning! These 64 Kens were very happy when KT informed the Royal Guards to allow them in. We met by the Royal Wood Heater and they were happy to stand around and warm up before the hot mulled cider appeared. They had travelled many miles to arrive at the Royal Castle, having heard of KT and his penchant to acquire as many silvers as needed a good home! These gentlemen, having retired from their respective jobs a few years ago, had been just traveling on their pensions and seeing the country and decided they needed to settle in a warm climate, only to arrive just before the Kingdom's first major freeze of 2024. For a place to stay and be warm, they volunteered to keep the home fire burning as long as necessary. This was very good news for His Majesty, because this work will benefit all living in the Castle. They seem quite fit and unafraid of some physical exercise, so KT agreed to take them on and give the other fire tenders a rest. They will learn from the other tenders exactly what is needed, and will work into their regular schedule, as provided them. And once the weather warms back up, KT will accompany them on a tour around the Kingdom via his Royal Coach.
KT and the Royal Kitchen fed them a handsome lunch and one of the Royal Guards was assigned to find them permanent accommodations!
