I found these three items at a new location, a Schoolhouse from the mid 1800s. I think the buckle might be for a pair of suspenders, but I'm not completely sure about that. As for the other two items, I have no idea what they might be. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've included the first photo so you can get a size comparison, since I didn't think to take pictures of the items with something of known size (a coin, for example) next to them. Sorry.

Honestly, I had never even heard of a Toe Tap until I read your replies. After seeing this, I did a Google search about Toe Taps, and people said that there is often a Pat No. and date on the front...so I looked. Here's the photo. Again, I know nothing about Toe Taps, so can someone who knows verify that the numbers I am seeing are actually a date (Nov 19, 1859), and a Pat No (2918)? If so, I now have my "newset" oldest find.

I think you have the date and patent number reversed. The date is Nov. 29, '18 (1918), and patent no. should be 7 digits, but I can't make out the whole number. Maybe 129185_ , but can't read the last number. (It's not a 9)
