Please do not clutter up this topic with unnecessary photo ...Never will use western union, my CHECKS are good, there is a concern the 8 wide stealth scoop's have to small of a foot pad for a large foot,i mod,ed them, might have to make them shorter, cut and grind, still need to test,3/16 aluminum 9 11/16x 6 1/4 ,Chuck does not make a 8 wide scoop in the new style were the foot pad is actually in the back plate, just 7 wide, I prefer a wider scoop 8 wide , hunting mostly with larger coil's, also I like the round holes not the hex style ,Stavr what do you have in 8 wide ,12 long,14 gauge,1/2 inch hole heavy duty water, wet, surf, scoop'sAlso Shipment UPS AIR Possible ?
if you want to round holes then choose the model M-9 or M-10

There was one customer that did NOT have a good experience with Western Union.....Me Just so we are keeping everything honest here.

but you pay by check, I understand the problem was not with the Western Union, and with collection agencies and the payment system in the U.S. that serves checks.
and as far as I remember it ended well for all but the collection agency,
I got money, you got the scoop and did not spend the money ...
as in the saying "the wolves are fed and the sheep are safe ..."

It was still me that spent HOURS on the phone trying to get the mess straighten out. How did the collection agency get my Western Union transaction information if it didn't come from somewhere from WU? Just don't say that every customer has been happy with WU because that is NOT the case.
I used the WU online like you recommended. The web site would not take my credit card, so I used a checking account number that had plenty of money in it. You got paid, I got turned over to a collection agency. I think it turned out to be a scam, but I spent HOURS on the phone with WU over this. Was it worth it....No.
Would I do it again to have another scoop from overseas.....No
Will I ever purchase online again without the protection of using a credit card....No

You said people have no problems using WU. I just pointed out....yes they do, I am one of them. People can be their own judges of how they want to do business, but believe me Western Union is far from perfect.

I am sure there are thousands that have never had a problem. I was not one of them. Just wanted to point out that WU is not flawless. People can make their own decision if they want to go that route.

but I personally have more complaints and problems in payment systems: Paypal, SWIFT, SEPA
I for one learned from your experience and am thankful you posted about it. A friend ofmine had his paypal hacked. I'm on pins and needles the people trying to scam you. There is a fake paypal page if you aren't careful. If you don't see that secured icon, it isn't paypal. Its a hacker.

When you have a USA based business that I can send a check to, with no extra charges for a scoop, that ship's UPS ground, than I will buy a scoop,2nd I can post pick's when, and were I choose on this forum ,YOUR NOT THE BOSS
,last ,with all your extra charge's, poor payment option's, difficulty getting scoop's in a reasonable time frame, without a lifetime warranty, the decision, to not purchase your scoop's is easy, at this time, maybe in a couple of year's thing's will change ,an you will make it easier for us to buy here in the US, without disappointment's

it's a great price, cheaper than the competition from the United States, even without shipping ...
it makes no sense to me to persuade you ...
The western union thing is just something we aren't used to... it's normally considered an unsafe way to pay for items, with paypal being much safer. Not saying you would steal the money.
Maybe you could set up something with one of the Dealers in America, like New England Detectors, Big Boys Hobbies, Kellyco, etc. You sell them a bunch of scoops at once for a discount (wholesale) price, and people like us can get them in under a week and use safe forms of payment.
You do make great looking scoops, I would take one of your scoops over a Sunspot every time.
I guess it's worth the wait for top quality though, heck I just ordered a molded leather holster for a gun, and the wait time is 10-12 weeks+

Just bought a STEALTH 8.... Thats made in America with a lifetime warranty without any problems 
I ordered a scoop from Stavr and Ruslan sent me an email and said it was ready for shipping! He sent me the info I needed and I went down the street to my local Western Union and paid for the transfer of money to the Ukraine.
I didn't mind paying the 12.00 dollars to get it to Ruslan instantly so I wouldn't have to worry about it. He emailed me back that day with the message he received the transfer and the scoop would ship the next business day!
No one can steal my info cause I didn't give any out! I have always been under the impression that WU was always the best way to send money.
Ruslan also included a tracking number in his email!
So far no worries!
