I know, I know, woe is me I can't deal with this anymore. I'm going to smash my detector and quit this stress inducing hobby. But in the meantime Tom, I'll send you a band-aid for your bleeding heart. I don't want any blood on my hands because of this situation. Good thing they didn't put mint marks on Large cents because it'd be just my luck this one would have an "S" mint mark and you'd want me to send it back across the continent.

Thanks Trapper.....the old stuff doesn't pop up too often in the places I hunt nowadays but once in a while I get a surprise.

Yup. Since Texas is on this side of the Mississippi , get used to it. All we can do is view their "east coast lies" posts, and dream "If only it were true". Although, I suppose Texas has a slightly better chance, since you guys had some early arriving explorers even back in the 1700s, eh ?
