Love old dog tags, these I got this past year. Like to see others and what's your oldest so far. Mine was the 1901, sold it to a collector though.

I've got a couple of campers over at Greenwood Acres, we hit Missy's every now and then. I think I've hit every park in your area. Good tags

Here’s mine - the vast majority are from my own county, ranging across a full century (1919 through 2018). It’s interesting to see the changes in materials used within my own county over time, starting with a nickel alloy in 1919, and then bouncing back and forth between aluminum and brass over the years. Unfortunately, the tags are all pretty bland (imagine that in Ohio!) except for one from 1928 that got all fancy with some tick marked beading around the edges! At some point a few years ago I actually took a bunch to the county auditors office - they handle dog licensing here - to see if they still had records associated with any of the tags. Although they were fascinated by the tags, they were sad to report they don’t keep records beyond about 10 years.

The one tag from North Carolina was from a hunt I did in that state a couple years ago, so no long distance dog travel involved there!
