KT was out of town part of Saturday to attend a Christmas dinner with some of His Royal Friends. Upon arriving back at the Royal Castle there were 4 packages, two of which contained these lovely silver halves!

The first 5 are well traveled Barbers, 2 dating from KT’s fathers birth year, 1902, along with a 1905, 1907, and a 1911. They shall regale the Royal Family this Sunday evening with the places they have been and events that have happened in their lifetimes!

In the second package there were 3 1982 George Washington 250 year birth anniversary Commemorative halves, still well preserved in their original cellophane wrappers. They are not proof coins as those 10 recent arrivals, but yet beautiful in their own way. Somehow they had managed to escape some collector’s horde and made it to KT’s Royal Castle, so they can enjoy life more fully in the Royal Kingdom! They were given a Royal Welcome and given a place of honor. They did come with their original boxes, and specialty paperwork.

Group pictures were taken of all by the Royal Photographer this afternoon. Enjoy the pictures!

Are the barbers halves?

Those Barbers are regal looking. My mom’s dad was born in 1911.

For the Washington’s - did the mint sell them like that or did someone take them out of the little plastic cases and later shrink wrap them?

Great coins to come home to, nice acquisitions KT!

GroundSweeper! Concerning the Washington halves….the US Mint put the Proofs in those coin holders in small boxes, but the uncirculated non- proofs, they simply sealed in those cellophane wraps, untouched by human hands! Thanks for your question and comment! KT was a coin collector early on, years before He got into MDing, coin roll hunting, and so on, so He forgets other enthusiasts do not necessarily have His background concerning actual coin collecting!

Congrats on the Royal Additions, Your Majesty! And a question from a Simple Commoner as myself... when thou goest out to eat with Royal Friends, who and what are these companions? No doubt other Kings and Queens with realms of their own, of Royal Blood, or perhaps Lords, Ladies, and Knights?

Much of the time, LovestheShiny, these are individuals, who are friends and coworkers with whom KT worked many years ago or developed longtime friendships through His Majesty’s Royal Church. In this group are many Ladies, who simply enjoy KT’s company. KT never wears His Royal Crown or Regalia, for He wants no special recognition when out in the general public, especially when the Royal Guards remain at the Royal Castle. So to say, KT prefers to be a “gray man” so as to blend in with the normal citizens.

Ah... a wise King! Without Royal Robes and Regalia, Your Majesty can see people for who they comfortably are, and they also are at ease and can be and act themselves around Your Majesty. Truly humble and wise!
