Nice coin, chain and unknown

Hello all.
Back out for a good 2 hours and was not looking good.
Last half hour got 3 bites !!
1744 Hibernia half penny. 5 links from a chain, not much but i think these are really well made by blacksmiths from back in the day.
Last thing im not sure what it is, copper i think, there was wood in the hollow part, it has clearly been snapped since lying in field or before maybe. Maybe a knife holder or the like.

Nicely done, patience pays off. Some great little relics. I'm with you that seems like a good sturdy chain. Not sure what the last piece would be off of.
 
Looks great. Agree on the last part, maybe a scabbard tip. Maybe even try looking at tips to canes/walking sticks
