OK, no shiny this time, not even a ring, but hot on the crosses. One especially nice cross.

None of those are gold?? Why?
A few years ago both crosses and the earring would have been gold. I think we are seeing a different group of immigrants in Dodge who are dropping the cheaper stuff. That is all I've been able to assume, but something has changed no doubt. Seems my only gold so far this year has been older drops.

On a side note: My custom Deus tot lot program generally ran at 14,035 HZ for the lowest amount of EMI at the schools. Today I was getting more than normal EMI, and I hate all that popping & cracking, I felt it was loud enough I could be missing some lighter signals so I adjusted to the quietest I could get which was 15,238 HZ. Note the two coins and the heart locket obviously had been in the ground awhile. These were found in the tot lots we have hunted for many years. The quarter really was odd because it rang up so clearly and had a solid VDI of 95, yet had been missed for some time in an open area. This tells me all this snap/crackle/pop of EMI, which seems to be the norm now, is probably causing me to miss some finds.
