Got off for a hunt after Church with Jimmy. Went to the lake first for a couple hours. Got 5 Quarters, 2dimes and a bunch of Pennie’s at the lake. The Deus2 performed pretty good in the water.
We left and headed to an older nearby town and got a permission and off We Went. Jimmy hit a little Wheat spill with a couple Wheats. We both hit a lot of clad. Swinging over by a bush at the edge of the yard I got a 1916S Merc!! I was so hoping it was a D. Silver#30fty! Coming back over by the last part of the yard I found a 1907 Indian Head Penny laying on top of the ground before I had even swung over it. That’s a First!!
Thanks for looking &
Happy Hunting!!!

Congrats on the first year Merc and surface find Ihp. RJ. Makes you wonder how the heck did it surface or was it just laying there all these years. I had an Ihp surface find this year but mine was on somewhat of a slope at the base of a tree so I surmised water run off uncovered mine. Good luck. Mark

Thanks Mark. Yeah this Indian was next to a big old oak tree kinda of on a slope away from the tree. It probably washed up too. Either way it’s pretty cool seeing one staring up at the sunshine😁
