These wonderful silver halves arrived at the Royal Castle Mailbox while KT was off having lunch and visiting with friends. They were escorted into the Royal Castle when KT returned and the Ladies were served an afternoon tea in the Royal Courtyard. 18 of them are of 1943 vintage and two, bottom right of their group photograph, are 1945. All war year babies. They arrived as a group from a kindly eBay dealer at His Majesties request. We just cannot have enough of these War Year Walkers in our Royal Treasure Chest. After the Royal Tea, they were sent to the Royal Baths and their clothes taken by KT’s servants to be washed, dried, cleaned and pressed after their long journey.

We shall have a Royal Banquet in their honor this evening, meanwhile they are given free roam of the Royal Castle, initially with an escort by the Queen, so they can meet our many guests.

Enjoy their group picture!

What to do with these royals of coins? Keep them for investments or to resell. Or maybe to seed totlots and volleyball courts to make some local detectorists very happy.

I used to collect Morgans and still have them. Those will be the last things I ever sell.

KT's Royal Father had 100 silver dollars and 1 St. Gaudin's 20$ gold piece, which KT was destined to inherit, however some sorry scoundrel broke into his locked desk and stole them!!:yikes: But over the years, KT has managed to accumulate 90 silver dollars to pass on to Prince John, along with the rest of the Royal Treasury.

Well my name is John, but am no Prince. When I divorced my 1st wife I just packed up my clothes and moved out. I should have taken those two coffee cans that my father gave me that were full of 1800's coins. UGH, I was young and stupid. You don't leave good stuff thinking you could trust your soon to be ex wife.

Now I have 28 Morgans and my wife has 13 that her grandmother saved for her. They are the very best of all American coins in my opinion.
