Light on silver but extra heavy on clad

I would agree goldendream to any silver is a find to be had. Even clad gets harder to find too. Many of the public places are getting fenced off. I finding myself having to travel more distance for hopeful opportunities. But then again, I enjoy going back to those beat to the drum locations just for that one extra coin challenge. Best of luck and success with your future hunts!

...the last decade or so has been a slow burn to dead for me , and comparing just 5 ago here on friendly , it seems people aren't posting much in comparison...is it dead everywhere?
So I disagree ..a Washington is HEAVY on silver.

I haven't even thought about digging lately..it's that bad ...hope things change..

I haven't even seen a merc (most common silver historically for me) in a LONG TIME .. I been digging 15 or so yrs, my access to good spots has long since dried up .. I'm not a big beach guy cuz I like old stuff (not just coins are cool for me ) I guess I just gotta accept that digging for what I like to find ,is just a fleeting interest....
I feel bad for people just getting into this ..unless of course they have VERY lucky properties ...

That is a whole lot of digging for a hot day. Congrats on the silver.
Thanks Kansashunter! Today was hot also, but instead I took the day off. If I weren't finding so many coins that day, I probably would have punched out earlier and called it a day. I was really surprised when I found that silver quarter, I felt like I caught my second wind after that. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
