It’s Getting Dangerous Out There! GLOCK 17!!!

So freakin cool! I see folks find guns about 2-3x a year, but never in the good of condition. Hope ya' get it back and can refurb or at least sell parts. AMAZING!

Who ever owned Glock put a new frame on it... this one pretty close...

It's a P80 frame. https://www.polymer80.com/PF940v2-80-Full-Size-Frame-Kit-Gray_2 not sure if gray of OD from the pic :)

If it was involved in something nefarious, I wouldn’t want it. Best of luck!
So, if a Gantsa was involved in the murder of someone, and went to the beach and lost his 248 gram 14k gold chain that he was wearing while in the commission of that felony, and you found it detecting, you would not want it? ;)

You shoulda turned that in too. What , no honor amongst gangstas?

The magazine was missing and there wasn't one in the chamber. After some freshwater flushing it still slid nicely. The trigger needs to be replaced. If I get it back I'll get it all nice and pretty again.
So you say magazine is missing, eh? I remember finding this one, which I posted some time ago. It came with live rounds (not in the picture) that were found scattered around it. Is that yours? :cool3:

Lol! I’d want it but Probably the 248 gram gold didn’t kill someone.

The slide is all that is salvageable from that 17. The barrel looks to be stock but the serial number has been removed judging from the blanked out area on the ejection port side of the barrel. Same for the striker and recoil springs.....I wouldn't trust them after soaking in saltwater for how long? That Polymer 80 frame is also toast, so is the trigger group judging from the rust above the burned trigger.

It's a great find but no longer a great firearm.

I just get to find way too many fired slugs and shell casings of all calibers at the public school playgrounds around here in Denver.

What the others said about not having a serial number...it's a felony to remove the serial number on a fire arm...so it depends on how well you know the cop to get it back....not worth it anyways unless you want it for a talking piece
