Unfortunately, there's no way to date the balls (except perhaps very crudely by caliber) because they've been made for hundreds of years and are still used by 'black powder' enthusiasts.

You have a great mix of history there. Enjoy the hunt!

Yeah freakin buddy! I'd trade every piece of treasure I've ever dug for this right here. It doesn't seem like much, but for me... its unmeasurable.

Thanks skeeter. Almost didn't get there because it was such a short run, but Chief Chetzemoka came through again and made sure I got a bit of silver.

Thanks Foiled: I didn't think there would be a specific way to tell. I'm going to assume they are old, since everything else is out here :grin:

I commute 5 hours a day (if I time traffic right).... long haul nothing. :lol:

We will have to try and put something together after the first of the year. Its worth it

To date with 10 visits we have combined 31 silver coins 3 of which are rosies (coins are old here) Jed scored an amazing 1841 LC that I haven't posted because I am SUPER jealous and until he makes an account I'm not doing it. LOLOL

Also probably 10 V's and probably about 10 buffs. Also got a nice gold pocket watch spinner thing. And..... I'll have to check.

It's been a blast to say the least. The owner of the course came out with us last night and got to see 3 barbers come out of the ground and was FLOORED! I gave him mine and he was beside himself. He is going to write us a sweet letter of recommendation for future courses.

Yeah, I've been swamped with family coming in for the holidays and then getting ready for my vacation from work, so it's been CRAZY. I'm supposed to already be on vacation actually and everything got bumped to the 8th which REALLY messed up a few of our plans.

After the 8th I won't be back on the course until January.

:laughing: in Everett at work right now! If I sell this roof this afternoon I'm done for the day AND tomorrow.

We are going to Tahoe with my boss and a few others (we all grew up together) and then heading to Scarlette's Cabin after. We usually disappear for the month of December every year for our snowboard fun run
