Amazing that you found these and also found these on your previous hunt:

Sylvia - there are many veteran detectorists on this forum and posts like yours with this beginners luck pop up from time to time. 99.999999999999999999999999999% of these type of posts are FAKE.

I guess there is a .000000000000000000001% chance you actually found these, so CONGRATULATIONS

Omg that is the most amazing luck I've ever seen you found more than I've found ever. Omg that is so amazong. You should write a book on professional metal detecting you are definitely an expert. Please enlighten us with only years of experience. As doge would say "much wow"

And I thought I was the only one who knew that meme

Such morgan
Many jealous
Much finds
So amaze
wow

Usually its the men having measuring contests..after seeing your other "finds" its ok you can tuck it away and zip up you win sylvia

Ya'll.... why would I fake something? Well believe what you need to believe.

I am so over whelmed. The dark coins were found among roots of trees. The lighter coins were found in sandy clay. The pennies were in rich dark soil.

I am just a beginner at this. I used the detector and my husband did the digging.

maybe your husband is planting them as he digs the hole, but odds that you found these coins in the condition they are in are unbelievably low. Like I said,
1 in a billion chance these were found as described. I'd love to see a video of these finds. Sorry Sylvia, just does not add up. If it walks like a duck ...

I agree, to a point.

I don't get the feeling Silvia is playing us for fools - but the red flags come out when I hear her husband is doing the digging.

The most likely thing happening here is that her husband is planting them in the holes to get her hooked on detecting. I wouldn't be above doing something similar for *my* wife, if I thought it would lead to her being addicted to the hobby, my having her as a hunting buddy, and less resistance to dropping a couple grand on a nice detector in a few months :)

Silvia - the next time you're out, run your detector over your husband's pockets!

Tree roots have nothing to do with the conditions of coins found near them, at least not like the coins you "found" and clay would turn the coins a dark gray especially ones as old as those, that have been there awhile, I know this cause I have dug an 1897 barber dime out of clay and it wasn't silver lookin at all. If your husband really was helping you and you believe you truly found these he was probably planting them so you would have a good time. In reality you don't find those coins everyday or year for that matter...

No videos... :p

Like I said believe what you need to believe. What in the world would be the point of faking it???? :?:

Ok Ya'll I am starting to take this to heart. If you want I will leave the forum. :(

All signs are pointing toward them being planted.. Cause in your other thread you say you two frienda go there and find nothing att all but when you and your husband go you find these coins that arent in any type of believable condition

Way to go Sylvia and welcome to the board!! Everyone knows me as SageGrouse. Sage, as in old (and spicy) and Grouse as in grumpy. However, my first name also happens to be Sylvia! When I was old enough to decide for *myself* what I weanted to be called I got rid of my old tacky Fifties first name and went through many name books and research to find the *perfect* name. I selected Sylvia. Nice to see another Sylvia onboard! Congratulations on the silver and on taking up a hobby that will delight and thrill you (and frustrate and annoy you) for decades!

Good luck and happy hunting!

Sage (Sylvia) Grouse

Thanks Saga for the warm welcome! I have only met a few "Sylvia's" in my life.

Absolutely not.

Let me put it this way - you either have the best luck of any detectorist I've ever met, or you have a husband that loves you enough to pay good money and go out of his way to make sure you enjoy yourself.

Neither of these things sound terrible to me :)

I'm sorry but I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that anybody could find all of those coins in one hunt, much less a beginner.
This is not jealousy, either (I have never found a Morgan, yet)
I have read several thousand posts and I do not think I have ever seen TWO Morgans in one hunt.
I guess either congratulations are in order, or we will never see you posting again:no:
