Yup, that's a good one for sure!

This one's probably my other best lead. CS Richmond Merrill.

.58" Gardiner explosive bullet

I found these .58" Gardiner explosive bullets a few years back at a just before Gettysburg 3rd corps camp. I found three total at two different spots. The federal government only bought 110000 of these in two calibers & the only battles they saw use was Chancellorsville & Gettysburg. These are some of my best finds.

Heh Gtoast

love the idea and thread....but I propose a change to allow a poster to do say three different posts in a row. I understand the concern of someone taking the thread over, but with it being summer and we seem to only have a handful of CW relic hunters here, it seems a poster might have to wait quite awhile before they could post another bullet waiting for someone else to post. I LOVE CW lead and have some good ones I would like to post.

Confederate Gardners

I know one has already been posted, but here is another view.

.58" New Austrian bullets

I found these a couple of years ago at a Gettysburg retreat spot. These are pretty rare bullets. I found these with North Carolina buttons.

Hanovarian/Saxon bullet

These rare bullets can come in one and two ring and in many different calibers. Almost exclusively found in early war CS locations. I found this one in a very early war CS camp in Ky.

Wow, some more awesome bullets posted! I'm loving this thread!

Here's a nifty one from down here in NC. Might be hard to tell from the pic, but it's a CS made teat-base enfield. :)

Richmond Labs/Foreign mold CS pistol bullet

McKee and Mason had this bullet ID'ed as a "foreign mold"...now proven to be a CS product of the Richmond Labs. .36 cal pistol bullet. Only one I have found at a late war skirmish site in SW Va.
