Yeah , got to re-evaluate the whole man cave idea. It implies that it's stocked full of bro's sitting around watching dirty movies , glancing at each other. No thanks. I would much rather have a Cat Cave. A full litter of kittens purring at my feet ! No dudes. Catering to THE KOB'S every whim.

Agree , got to wonder about those Florida speedo boys :laughing: , Craig your married Joe & I are not , he has a hot tub, so do I , as far as the girls he, & I take in it , Is up to us , You married guy's I tell you it's all about control , noone controls me :roll: , gonna redue the back yard with maybe a new SALT pool , new hot tub with top / sound system , as far as the D-- goes , sorry not allowed on the OLD SCHOOL Beach Water forum per Rudy , wondering what other rules your going to impliment , as freedom here is vanishing every day :( :pirate2: :( ????:?: WHO was it that complained on the beach forum about pet posting , was it the white coat trolls , we all know it wasn't Me , Itsaring , or you , discussed in a Administrator / owner meeting , implimented forum rule , thrown to friends & family , must have been someone of important value to the forum :?::shock::(

I just finished remodeling our living room, and my "Man Cave" is my next project. I have souvenirs and trinkets from treasure hunting and traveling throughout the US and Italy. Lots of stuff to display, and trying to work with a designer to make it look classy instead of a cork-board with push-pins. I'll have to do a before and after once I really get into it.

I'm leaning towards a design like this last photo. Something that I can use to display and hold my equipment. It would be interesting if I could incorporate an old rifle, sword, and detector. Another theme is for my automotive and motorcycle stuff. ....And then I spent a few decades fabricating stone and gems, and have plenty of that too.

Eh, I'm all over the board on this so going to give the designer some challenges on how to incorporate it all.

So let me tie this back....

The man cave design I want, should include memories from my favorite times. All of which include water and beaches. Amalfi Coast in Italy (where I treasure hunted), the Great Lakes, Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and countless lakes throughout the continental US where I searched for treasures.

What are some items y'all would include? Do you have any photos with beach or nautical themes???

No member complained about your pet thread... because we are trying to clean up certain sections of forum of non-metal detecting content dog threads went to where they belong in Family Friendly section... Earl we talked about and all agreed its in the correct sub-forum now....
