Hunting again in the heat. 1918 cottage. The owner kept the modern change and the half dozen or so wheat pennies that I found. I kept the 1968 Quarter Balboa from Panama (adding a picture of it next to a silver version from my collection), a pretty cool star thing that I think is from a kids cowboy outfit? And a lid to something (has a broken place where the hinge would be) that is marked 835 (silver) and hallmarked.

Panamanian coins are the same size and weight as ours and are mostly made in our mints.

The silver item appears to be Portuguese and from the City of Porto. Still looking for the maker.
