Hey there fellow treasure seekers. I found this cache of sorts along with a lot of other foreign coins not by metal detecting, but by opening a drawer. I got these at one of my previous jobs. I was sitting at a desk in the only office there and opened the drawer and saw these in a baggy. No I didn't just up an take them. Seeing as how there were only 4 of us who worked there, I asked who's they were. The current manager said he had no idea and that they had been there since he had been there and they didn't belong to anyone who currently worked there. I asked if I could have them and he said "Sure, get 'em outta here." Sweet! Instant collection. The photo might be blurry. It was scanned and looked good, but blurry after I messed with it in the Kodak program.
In case you can't read the dates:

Morgan Dollar 1898
V nickel 1905
Large cent Unknown
Mercury dimes 1917,1926,unknown
Kennedy half dollar 1964
Quarter 1952
Marocan 50 franc Not sure, just says 37 or 1371 on the back
New Zealand Half Crown 1934

1/2 crown about $2.50 Best coin there depending on condition would be the old winged lib dime. Cant see the buff looks like no date left on it. Still not a bad deal considering how you came about getting them......Gil

Can't beat that with a stick! No bending no digging! And you even asked to make it better. Good going. Cladius.

If the Morocan coin is in fact dated 1371, than due to the differences between our calendar and the Islamic calendar, it was actually minted in our year 1950 or 1951. I can't make out the pic too well, is this it?
