I have had a pretty good run Fred over the last half dozen hunts but I'm still less than half you totals. I am not complaining as I feel pretty good about where I am so far this year. The Gold Coin just blew my mind, it was so unexpected. The Monster is truly a great guy and I do appreciate his friendship. Trapper

You are most certainly welcome Trapper,and we gave it a good shot Saturday. Conditions weren’t the best but we did good. I had planned that very moment for awhile but I have to say that Dewsweeper planted the idea of the coin,since we couldn’t come up with any other cool thing. Those things aren’t easy to find,even in coin shops! Probably easier than in the ground though...
Friendships and common interests are what keep me going,along with the hunting itself. These are all moments I will certainly carry to the bitter end,I’m glad you and a lot of people have been part of it.

I don't know of any other way to say thank you Kevin. You took me by total surprise. Just no way I seen it coming, just one hell of a surprise. It figures Dew's had have something to do with it. Really want you to know how much it is appreciated. Oh the hunt was pretty okay also, but because of construction I got hung up a bit by the border on the way home. Trapper

Kiniver is the word for you Brad, sneaky kiniver. The Gold Coin was a complete surprise. It now rests next to the $5er. Now I do wished I asked if you wanted to make the run. Only reason I didn't was because it was almost 2 hours drive from my place which would have put you on the road for over 4 hrs. one way. This all made for a very nice week. Trapper

Thank you Scott. I don't know about deserving but it all is welcome. As far as the Gold Coin reward, I was at least persistent enough to make several trips to get the permission on that site that held the old coins. I have hope to go back again this Spring as I have only covered about half the property.
