As I mentioned in the title, I know this is a long overdue post of my findings in 2021. Some things had come up, and obviously I kept putting it off...
It was my 5th year in this hobby, and, only getting out 6 times last year I did find the least in quantity of clad, but it was probably...
Last summer I spent a lot of time researching old houses in our area, but unfortunately only made it out to one of them. However, yesterday after church my sister Chelsea and I went to an older area nearby with several old houses, which I had found using Historic Aerials. The first couple we...
Last year started pretty well for me. In fact, I thought I might even have my best year; then several things came up that unfortunately prevented me from getting out as much as I hoped to, and I ended up having my lowest clad year. :( Still, it is always fun MDing with my brother and sister, and...
When you are new to a hobby there is nothing like a good confidence boost to keep you interested. I asked for permission to search an old industrial site (from the late 1800's) after talking to a lady that said she had seen people detecting over around the main building (even though it says no...
To start this post off, I thought I should mention first what I found in December:
3 Boxes of Dimes: 1959 80% AG Canadian, &1964-D.
1 Box of Quarters: 2019-W Quarter. :D
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now for my 2019 Year End...
Here are all my hunts from September. :D I was having really bad success with the N.F. Strings rolls, then, at the beginning of the month, they ordered a box of nickels from Loomis. I did really well and found 2 Buffs in high-grade condition, so I asked them if it would be a problem to start...
Here are all my hunts from August. :D I've been primarily targeting dimes, but as you can see I haven't been that successful. At the beginning of the month, I bought 2 boxes of Pennies and gave one to my sister to look through... she ended up finding more wheaties and an older one too! :D...
Here are all my hunts from July. :D I was specifically targeting dimes and unfortunately was onto a major skunk streak (and it didn't help that my order came in a week late once, too). I was at 6 skunk boxes of dimes in a row (continuing from the end of June) when I found a silver dime in...
Here are all my hunts from May. :D I searched through almost seven boxes of coins last month; below are my results:
Penny Box #1: 1940, 1944 x2, 1945, 1947-S, 1950, & 1955-D x2.
Penny Box #2: 1936, 1940, 1944, 1945, 1950-D, 1951-D x2, 1952, & 1956.
Penny Box: #3: 1932-D, 1942...
I went back to my best permission a few times and got more keepers. The IHP was 1/2 inch thick with crud and corrosion. It took allot of electrolysis to burn it off. The 1910s wheatie was a nice surprise too. The sterling ring is so small. It is smaller in diameter than a dime.
Here are all my hunts from February. :D I had a great time searching through 2 boxes of pennies, $96 in nickels, & $215 in dimes, and I found some really cool coins. In box #2 of pennies, I found a 1909 wheat cent with V.D.B. initials, and it is very sharp in detail. You can clearly see...
Here are all my hunts from January. :D I had a lot of fun searching through a box each of pennies, nickels, & dimes, as well as a few extra rolls of pennies and some quarters. I'm only doing a couple rolls of quarters at time to slowly fill up my State & ATB coin folders. I found quite a few...
Here is my wrap-up from 2018. Looking back, I had a pretty decent year CRHing, finding 10 silver coins, a buff, a lot of Wheaties, and 3 proofs! :woot:
First pic is of my US keepers. Also, not pictured I found some 2009 nickels & dimes, plus some Bicentennial, State, & America The Beautiful...
This hunt is from the end of November, so it's a little belated again. :D We have been really busy this time of year. :lotsasnow::snowtruck: I went through 2 boxes of pennies. Here are my results: :D

Well, I had a few hours this afternoon to get some detecting in. I went down to the same spot where I found my 4th IHP last week. I didn't get anything good in the yard so I decided to hit the curb strip. The very first signal I had produced this beauty. I almost died when I saw it in the hole...
A couple of weeks ago I went through a box of pennies, here are my results:
Pennies:
1941-D
9 Canadian
A somewhat disappointment finding only 1 wheatie after going through a whole box, but still a cool coin to add to my collection of wheats. :D Happy hunting everyone and God bless. :D
Got permission yesterday on an 1883 little house. Went out there with high hopes of finding something old. Well, about 20 minutes into the hunt I got a non-reapeatable Zinc signal. I want to sure about digging it but I decided it couldn't hurt. I was expecting a piece of trash , but was...
I have been pretty busy the last couple weeks so this is actually from the last weekend of July. I went through 1 box of pennies, here are my results. :D

A couple of weeks ago I picked up $70 in quarters and $50 in pennies (the most I've ever done in pennies). Here is the synopsis of the hunt:

4 Bicentennial Quarters (2 Denver, 2 Philadelphia)
12 State Quarters
18 America the Beautiful Quarters
Pennies (box 1):
1942
1942-S (x2)
1944...
This is a combined total from my last two hunts of 50¢ in pennies, $100 in dimes, and $100 in nickels.
A couple weeks ago I picked up 1 roll of pennies to look through on the way to another bank where I got $100 in dimes. The roll of pennies had a 1950-D Wheatie! :hi5: The only thing that...
