Hey all, first time on here.
so I was visiting in Gaspe, Quebec. And I decided to try metal detecting the beach there. On the beach theres tall grass that you have to walk through to get to the sand,
but right before you reach the sand theres a little errosion and some hay pushed up against the grass.
I was getting very few hits so I tried my luck going along where the errosion and hay is.
And in the hay, thats where I found most of these, kind of tangled in the hay like a net.
The rest of the findings was in the sand under the hay.
It was all in a stretch of maybe 60ish feet, then the signals stopped.
I ended up cleaning everything besides 4 of the buttons because you could make details out on them. Everything else had no details and was coverd in a thick dark green.
My reason for the post is can anyone help me I.D some of these buttons and coins?
Or if you might know a little history of the items or how they ended up on the Gaspe shores.
Hurricane Fiona? Sunk ship?
Please any Information is appreciated, Thanks.
