Nokta Makro Legend feedback, use, comparisons, etc

Literally every response you aren't man enough to handle ends up : "watch this video". You need to Trust in Kob on this one : stop acting like a fool and being tool...only then will people start to listen and have faith in anything you say.

I can also safely say this. Watching my Control pads on Legend vs my Equinox. One can expect Legends keypad area to look a helluva lot better than the Nox’s control keypad area after a lot of use. My Nox looks pitiful.

Seems Legend keypad holds up better looks wise when exposed to dirty fingers.

I wish they would have put glow in the dark stuff on the buttons,I screw up all the time night hunting which is 90 % of my hunt time....

I was out the other night wearing headlamp using Legend. Bugs almost took me off. Real bad. May have eat a few. Lol
Still keypad on Legend top notch.
I’ve used Legend enough now I can find my way in the dark button wise.
But if I lay off of it. I’ll get rusty doing.
But need light so indon’t Step on rattler or copperhead.

I still haven’t charged and hooked up the extra battery.
Like the battery on Legend. Good life. Haven’t ever runndown on one hunt yet.
Charges back up pretty fast.

Small coil is my favorite. I am starting to dislike all 11” coils more and more with each passing day.
A nine inch round would Be a nice one for Legend.
 
Audible EMI using Legend in multiple sites and intentionally taking to places I have had bad Emi experiences in the past.
Legend very good. Disclaimer beach programs not rated. The rest of the modes seem to work good from Emi standpoint in places I took. Only multi freq detectors actually to maybe do better would be Etrac and CTX- NOT Deus 2 (deep high conductor program took it out of the running) or Equinox 800.

I am a little surprised at how long noise cancel takes on Legend. Would have thought it would have been faster. It’s faster than the Etrac though.

I could be wrong here in saying the following. Menu wise seems one can’t alter already saved program. And save it in same slot. I tried the other day no luck.

The new Legend control box protector released by Nokta has red labels over the buttons which may help a lot. I ordered one so we shall see.

Here is something for you to look into.
Ive been hanging out in a different forum,so maybe you have already discovered this??
In another forum that I belong to,they discovered that if you stack 2 or more silver dimes, quaters, etc, like this photo, and bury them in the ground just a few inches or more, the Legend fails miserably.
It either gives no vdi reading at all, or a number that most users would not even dig.
Typical coin spill, just below the surface, out in the field.
Gets even worse, if coins are different denominations ie. dime on quarter.

I have seen similar.
Will show Legend and Equinox over some same scenarios.
There is a difference between the models here but not a total difference.
I’ll show and explain in video.
Legend for whatever reason is more easily put into this position vs EQuinox.

I, and many others, can always hit the coins with our Legends, that somehow, TNS just can't ever seem to hit with his Legend. Weird huh?

I just did that 4 coins on the same plane test. With the 11" coil, and both 5 and 8 for the recovery speed, I get high tones and high ID's on my Legend in all SMF modes, and all SF modes.

You TNS, are either somehow pulling a fast one, or you have a defective Legend, or a bad install of 1.09. Which is it?

Could be.

Also, In previous tests, I've seen him deliberately use the wrong Legend SMF mode to make it look like the Legend failed his test. If he had used the correct SMF mode, he would have hit the coins. Thing is, he knows that, but preferred a lie. A lie by omission, is still a lie.

What's worse, is that FMDF allows this BS to continue.
 
TNS,I feel you need to get rid of the Legend and stick with the NOX,as it does not like you.
I just went outside and used my Legend minis the Styrofoam box, just on the ground and did not have any problems. Actually hit all four with good tones.
 
I just found out that TNS has been filtering my comments on his YT channel. He's been doing it from Day 1. I can see all my comments that expose his lies and BS, but no one else can see my comments. In other words, he is not only an XP shill, but a coward.

I just created a YT channel, and I'm going to post videos that debunk his !!!!. My first video will be of the Legend hitting those coins with high ID's and tones.

BTW- Notice how TNS and Calabash never do videos about the D2's flaws?. If you want to see some of the D2's flaws, then watch You Tuber "History Revisited".
 
And that my friends is why some of us have no use for most comparison testing videos. Not that I feel SharpShooter is purposely trying to deceive the viewers, but, having done my share of videos, I know they do not reflect what every user is going to achieve in their conditions.

Give me a live hunt and I'll see what I'm looking for that matters to me.

Just like the video, I saw the other day with the NOX 800 and in a tot lot the guy was passing up target after target that I have found to be the best gold. He was happy finding dimes & quarters LOL.
