Nokta Makro Legend feedback, use, comparisons, etc

Be nice if someone would take Legend V1.09 to wet salt beach and compare to Equinox using some medium and smaller sized gold rings and do some depth comparisons. Reason I would like to see, is due to how multi beach wet on Legend behaves vs Beach 1 or 2 on Equinox when exposed to smaller foil/can slaw trying to detect higher conductive coin.

Gonna match a legend against a Deus ll IN the salt water when i can get one. So it might be a few? I know a Nox seems to find smaller gold on a salt beach than a Deus ll. Even with the 9" coil. Not many people i know actually beach hunt for high conductive coins in the summer. Wastes too much time and beach clad is actually a PITA to clean to spend. I got a bucket full that needs tumbled. Plus all the metal and toxins in the water you get off the coins is actually bad for your health. And when you dump the water down the drain it goes to a waste treatment facility where it gets past the treatment process and gets dumped back into the ocean and rivers along with some bacteria from the poop water that gets by. There is one beach on the gulf coast where you scrub off with bleach a couple times after you get out of the water and hope you don't get an infection that might kill you.

That's an easy peasy test for the Nox. Small foil or just foil in general gives you a grunt on the Nox. If there is a coin next to a piece of foil the Nox will slam it. If there is a small piece of foil touching the coin, again the Nox will slam it. Small can slaw and the results are the same at the beach. Works either in B1 or B2.

You can also tell if you got foil with a coin spill mixed in with a Nox

This video here was done showing Legend and Deus 2. Doing a test to see if both could isolate silver merc dime using notch/tone break.
I saw something strange with Legend (Legend was shown second). So I cut the video apart. The reason for Deus 2 in first part of this vidoe.
Folks should watch this video. Legend acting strange here for sure. Manufacturer should watch this too.
I will look closer and see if I can narrow down what could be casing this. Only 60 tones tried. No ferrous in this test whatsoever.
Surprising results.

Here’s video showing Legend V1.09 doing its thing using park M1.
Using smaller ball of foil and a bigger one. Guess which ball of foil the Legend acts more correctly when coil, comes over nonferrous coins?
Watch. The video. To find out.

Sharpshooter must be a magician. According to some.

Try and keep your target centered under the coil and chase the tone like a hound dog, don't run from it. You may be a little bit erratic there sir. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Yeah. I am capable of sweeping a detector and evaluating. Trust me

Your tests are flawed because of your erratic swing pattern. You would have swing the coil at the same speed, have the exact same height over the targets, and have the targets located under the CENTER of the coil every single swing. Which is impossible and all you have to do is watch your own videos to see the proof. Stop drawing conclusions based on erratic tests. You act arrogant and ignorant when anybody critiques your test's. Your not great, your average just like me and everybody else on this forum when it comes to metal detecting. Its a hobby and you and one other big mouth/know it all are turning it into a competition!

Take the detector out and actually use it. Imagine if you had all those hours on the legend actually using it in the field vs testing on white blocks in your yard.

I read one of your comment on your channel and someone asked you what do think about the Legend and your answer was "It need's work". How could you say that when you have zero find's and zero experience with the detector in the field?

For the record I have used it in the field. Showed some video too. Actually showed some thing in the wild I showed doing elevated tests.

Get your facts straight before you open your mouth.
Videos are available for you to watch if you want.

You have a nice day.
All hunts with Legend not videoed. And for good reason. Same goes for Deus 2 and Equinox 800.

Watch this video. Very telling.
Videos showing Legend V1.09 sweeping setup.
And changing out coin.
Big difference.

Definition of long con
noun Slang.
an elaborate confidence game that develops in several stages over an extended period of time wherein the con man or swindler gains the victim’s trust, often bypassing small profits with the goal of reaping a much larger payout in the final maneuver:
The key to pulling off a long con is giving your marks the illusion of control while you and your team manipulate their choices.

Taking a detector out a handful of times is not using in the field! Take it out for 6 months /a year and really use it for actual detecting before opening your mouth !

You do realize that these detectors can easily be set up to fail any test even the Deus 2.

Some other members who own the Legend are starting to speak up on this topic. That’s good.

These last two posters talking about coil positioning when swinging the Legend coils are making a valid point from my experience.

I am in no way saying that TNSS doesn’t know how to swing a detector.

I am saying that my Legend in some modes and stability settings can give several different target IDs even on easy targets with just a slight manipulation of the coil.

I really like the Legend except for this one tendency. It is as if the Legend is almost too sensitive in some M settings using Park and Field.

I can get my Legend to pass many of these tests with high conductors vs small can slaw and foil with just a slight change of coil height or approach angle. I can just as easily get it to fail in the same scenarios.

Holy smokes, is this thread still breathing? Lol.. Can't say much for why the videos are showing poor performance but in the parks and churchyards I'm finding a lot of good stuff with my Legend. Great machine

Only showing some differences Woody. The differences may or may not play into one’s detecting scenarios. Oh yeah. Legend will definitely find stuff.

I can also safely say this. Watching my Control pads on Legend vs my Equinox. One can expect Legends keypad area to look a helluva lot better than the Nox’s control keypad area after a lot of use. My Nox looks pitiful.

Seems Legend keypad holds up better looks wise when exposed to dirty fingers.
