Don't forget, it's a global release, not just a US release. I am willing to bet all the pre-orders (based on the hype) will probably take until April to fill. By then, that firmware and possibly actual control module hardware will have been updated at least once.

These types of slow roll releases are to limit warranty work. Tweak the batteries, tweak the software, tweak the control module, etc. The pre-orders are the guinea pig releases. Get the product into the masses on a limited scale and discover the problems. The warranty work they end up doing goes back to the production line for fixing the final FINAL product. I had a similar situation with my CTX3030.

You will also probably see the bundled packages with all the coils, etc. after said final FINAL releases become available.
 
I was told today by Kellyco that the Equinox arrives at the dealers end of the month and ships early February

Also Choppa, not everyone wants one. I'm not sure if I do or not as I've really enjoyed my CTX and have honed it in how like it and especially since I've been running the 6" Smart Coil and have seen a major difference in target separation. From a practicality standpoint though, does the connector for the coil seem odd to anyone? I know I've had my beach scoop slip out of my hands a time or two and hit my machine by accident and I never had to worry about it breaking off the coil connector. Just thinking out loud.
 
Look at it this way Alpo...... that coil cable will keep you from breaking off the headphone one.:laughing: I will tell you....... that the machine is as light as the dang CTX coil. I think you may change your mind.........

However, MLs priority IS NOT to give us the waterproof headphones or a means to submerge at the time of introduction. Instead..... they want the 6" coil available. Guys....... this thing can go under water sure, but theres no way to hear it....... snorkel maybe thru the main speaker. Just ticks me off they didnt use the CTX connector like on the CTX. We already have phones for that machine. Come on....... all ML had to do was add those adapters to their already crappy phones they have had for years........ then charge us MUCH more than they are worth. Id like to see an all out ..... lets find that adapter on this one. As a water hunter im not happy about this at all.

Is the last day in January the 31st. , i will pray for the release tonight, hope ML pull's through , i have the itch , as this will be the only, last MD purchase of 2018, Let's Go ML. :impatient::foottap::timer::waiting::pirate2:

For some ML dealer's to chime in here :?::?::?::?::?: , today is the last day of January 2018, with NO Release, and No Update's from ML or supplier's , is it ML policy to leave it's user's , and dedicated customer's- in the DARK , we ML swinger's would like a detailed response, THANKS

Earl id give them some time. When they rushed out the CTX they forgot about saltwater. And they really don't need to forget about saltwater on this one:lol: Just let me know by PM when you get one. Im gonna wait a few still after the release. Got the :gettinmoney: in my hand though. Gonna let others buy the mackerel one

Itsaring..... that screw up wasnt really MLs, it was a tester. We wont have a salt setting issue on this one. Now the question is...... how many will they ship? Will they try and fill all the orders before shipping? IMO they should, i think they have some pretty experienced testers. IF .... IF someone at least left it in the bath tub over night.:laughing: A lot of guys that got used to the CTX.... and the huge advantage the smartscreen gave may not be quite as happy. But its a good up on the Xcal not having one at all. You'd think by now thou..... the testers would be allowed to pass on a lot more info. I can only think this again is marketing pushing for sales. My guess .... they will loose a few to Makro if they dont.
 
Don't forget Feb 2nd is also the day the groundhog comes it of his hole. <grin>

No Choice but wait

I don't have much choice here in N E Indiana, our weather is still pretty darn cold out there. I've got a newly acquired Deus that I can't even swing yet. So waiting for the Nox is not an issue for me. I am anxious to hear about it from those who get them first.
