Thanks for all the comments. I have been spending all night documenting what I have and checking dates (no key dates, but that is just fine with me). Everything is all ready to go to the safe deposit box tomorrow until I decide what to do with it. I'm still shocked and amazed.

Yeah, The bank knew there was silver in there. While she was making the call, one of the tellers told me that they had to go through it today because there was an off count with the machine. He said "there are some silver and a lot of Franklin's" I wanted to jump up and down, but instead, I kept my calm and just said very calmly.. "That sounds good, that's what I'm looking for". I cannot believe that they went through and saw the silver but still didn't care to pull them out. Maybe they aren't able to for some reason.

I'm going back next week and if they ask, I will tell them that my kids and I had a lot of fun going through them, but there is NO WAY I'm going to tell them what I found or what it is worth. Their ignorance was my reward and I plan to keep it that way.
