found my 1st error coin

The distance between the "A" and the "M" needs to be the same as the distance between as the "M" and the "E". Sounds simple. The 2000 is the most common. The 1998 is next followed by the rare 1999.

Yep, I'm fairly certain its an error coin, I will try to get a better photo posted soon...

The spacing is more inbetween the AM compared to another 2000, and the engraver/minters initials are closer to the memorial.

Just remember that as the dies get old and die wear happens, the letters will appear to be moving apart. This will give the look of a WAM. That's why I asked about the distances. The "M" will have the same distance between the "A" and the "E". Just a thought for you

Pretty sure this a huge file... should shed clarity on my question.

Left one is a run of the mill 2000, right one is my suspect

worth more than $5 for sure but depends on the condition. I believe they call this thing a "variety" rather than an error
