wrong contest, the contest the OP was talking about was for a trip to Hawaii. don't know that the winner of that contest has been announced yet. HH Steve

There were 4 contests total. One for a pinpointer. He got a broken one.

Two for detectors. Both never shipped.

Then the one to shame all others. He dissapeared.

Sorry all but no matter what happened I wouldn't count on anything. The good news is at least you are not out anything but your time.

I will say the story of him recieving a brand new CZ-21 and within 15 minutes found a platinum ring worth between 8500.00 and 10,500.00 and he got 9500.00 for it from a jeweler, was way too far out there for me to comment on.

I found a 14,000.00 ring and after much shopping, sold it for 2500.00.

Funny I told the guy that he was faking when he posted the contest originally. He argued the fact, but now we know who was on the up and up and who wasn't.

Oh, I burned my foot, that means I can't package a metal detector that someone won. Oh, I burned my foot, I can't type (with my FINGERS) who won the all expense paid trip to Hawaii!

Reminds me of the scene in the movie 'Friday' when Smokey owed Big Worm money. Smokey is like "Did you hear about Craig? He got fired the other day..." (Trying to avoid the real issue at hand)

"Big worm said, "What's that got to do with ME smokeyyy? You playin with my money..."

So...did you guys hear about Craig? He got fired the other day!
