Box 2 yielded a nice 40%er...but it was a solo But The King is not sad...just happy that it showed up...The stress of having to find a Treasure Box every week was building and this week the balloon popped ! KT has fond memories AND the silvers from the last 3 weeks hunts for consolation!

All was not lost tho as there were some nice NIFCs and a couple of proofs...one being a bicentennial...

Then of course there was the obligatory penny in a half dollar roll! Grrrrrrr

Off to the Bank to dump this load and get ready for next week.

Not your best hunt but always nice to get some NIFC's and you did get a 40%er so all was not lost! Better luck next time!

Thanks Pennyfinder! The one 40%er looks like it came right out of someone's collection. It is a beauty! And KT continues hoarding the NIFCs. Always nice to find a pretty bicentenial proof too!

Too bad one of your boxes wasn't a 'treasure box' this week, KT. : ( Congrats on your shiney silver though. I can't believe that our 2 beat you! LOL We're still WAY behind though. Nice little extra 'bonus' again too. Good luck next week.

Ever think about putting a small dot of paint on a few to see if you are looking throught the same rolls?

A very few halves KT sees have paper stickers on the back, from a variety of businesses...those are unusual...so on those, KT puts his initials (KT) on that paper stuck on label. Figured one of these days, some CRHer on this forum may report finding some with KT on it! HA HA

Of the 25 or so KT has done this to, He has only gotten 1 back in a box and that was about 3 months later from the time it was marked. Interesting thing was that that box also contained 2 silver halves (40%ers), so it showed KT that silvers were working their way into the coin stream continuously, not just present in some older boxes.
