What kinda tooth do you reckon this is?? :?: I was up at a campground in Northern Michigan near Pictured Rocks collecting sea glass along the shoreline and eyed this "little" fella on the wet sand.

Here it is next to a AA battery.

Mudpuppy was just up in the Keweenaw area for a visit. Looks like one of his. Probably lost it falling down after tipping back a few too many with Yoop and hitting his mouth on a pile of Yooperlite rocks on the beach. The current should have been able to carry it over to the Pictured Rocks area in that amount of time.
 
Looks like a shark tooth to me, but don't know why it would be in Michigan. Maybe it's a prehistoric shark tooth?

Would be cooler if it really was a tooth..
