The speaker cant really get dirt to it....If you take the little cover off..it is still sealed in Pinpointer (Speaker)...just Thinner plastic under there.

Go to Home Depot and get a package of chair leg protectors. The little black cups work great.

I'm not hard on my carrot but I took the advice of more experienced hunters and got the tips on Amazon....It works great.....Pete
