I'm posting this here because I know there's at least one or two jar guys that look here, but mods feel free to move to help ID section if you please.
I found a zinc jar lid that I think dates to 1900-1910, however, the closest example I can find reads "GENUINE BOYD CAPS", but mine looks to very cleanly stop at "GENUINE BOY". This cap has certainly seen better days, but the area of the missing letters looks pretty clean. It doesn't really seem to be rubbed down smooth. It's like they were never there. Anybody seen this before?
